Hong Kong Chinese Medical Association Ltd (HKCMA) Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) - Frontiers in Clinical Practice: Bridging Primary and Specialist Care
The Hong Kong Chinese Medical Association Ltd (HKCMA) is proud to present to the medical community our upcoming day-long Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) entitled Frontiers in Clinical Practice: Bridging Primary and Specialist Care to be held at Cordis Hotel on 14 July 2024. This title embodies the belief of the HKCMA that cross-sectoral collaborative medicine and mutual enhancement is important not only for improving the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment, but also for leading the way to better quality of patient care.
The ASM will focus on a number of important medical topics, from vaccination and infectious disease, to asthma, lung cancer, and non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, diabetes and kidney disease, all healthcare issues regularly confronting the frontline doctor. We look forward to promoting the dissemination of innovative knowledge through our ASM and to contributing to community health.
We are especially grateful to an anonymous donor who has enabled Professor Ma Jun (馬駿院士) from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (中國科學院院士) to deliver at this meeting the Distinguished Lecture entitled "Fostering young talents and forging competitive teams through clinical problem-oriented research". Professor Ma’s outstanding research and profound insights will bring us valuable enlightenment and inspire us to continue to improve in our professional fields.
