Bempedoic acid: Mechanism of Action, Pharmacological Properties and Clinical Trial Summaries
This is an in-service lecture for the CUHK Medical Centre Pharmacy staff
Upon completion of the activity, participants will learn:
- How Bempedoic Acid works as an ATP-citrate lyase inhibitor and in combination with Ezetimibe to lower LDL-C
- Highlights of Prescribing Information of Bempedoic Acid (i.e. dosage and administration, contraindications, adverse reactions, drug interactions etc.)
- A share on the outcomes of clinical trials conducted for Bempedoic Acid
