Dear Pharmacist Colleagues,
Invitation to Enrol in the Continuing Pharmacy Education Programme through the College of Pharmacy Practice
On behalf of the College of Pharmacy Practice (CPP), we are pleased to invite you to enrol in the voluntary Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE) Programme for registered pharmacists in Hong Kong by choosing CPP as your preferred CPE Administrator.
The voluntary CPE Programme, endorsed by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB), has commenced on 1 June 2024. Each CPE cycle runs from 1 June to 31 May of the following year. Pharmacists earn CPE points by participating in recognized activities offered by accredited CPE Programme Providers or activities approved by the CPE Administrators. Pharmacists who accumulate 15 CPE points within a cycle will receive CPE certificates, recognizing their commitment to continuous professional development. To participate, pharmacists must enrol through a single CPE Administrator accredited by the PPB.
As an independent, professional body of pharmacists, CPP is dedicated to advancing the standard of pharmacy practice in Hong Kong by providing continuing education and specialist training frameworks in specific areas of practice. We fully support the CPE Programme and are proud to announce that CPP has already been accredited by the PPB as a CPE Administrator. By registering your CPE with CPP, you will gain access to a range of exceptional features on our user-friendly electronic platform.
- Access the platform from your desktop or mobile device at your convenience to ensure seamless learning experiences
- Suggest/submit CPE activities and claim CPE points online
- Access CPE activities and resources (e.g. conferences, lectures, CE articles) via the hyperlinks provided on our platform
- Receive periodical updates on your current CPE point status
- Our governance and quality assurance measures guarantee the accuracy and timeliness of your CPE records for submission to PPB required for award of your CPE Certificate
We welcome ALL registered pharmacists in Hong Kong to register your CPE with CPP. To enrol, please visit www.cpp.org.hk/cpe. For all enrolees, we are waiving the annual fee of $100 for the first CPE cycle. Members of CPP can register with us free of charge. To join CPP, please visit www.cpp.org.hk/. Should you have any enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us at admin@cpp-cpe.org.hk.
Thank you for your attention, and we eagerly look forward to your active participation in the CPE. Let's work together to advance the standard of pharmacy practice in Hong Kong!
